The club’s coach, Edson Makavan, said practise is a huge part of their culture. It helps them to prepare and stay ready for their upcoming friendlies, league games and tournaments.

“For friendlies, the teams have their leagues, and so do we, but we do cross-play for the betterment of the club and to gain experience, for fitness purposes and make friends.
“Though we are forever ready!”
The seniors and juniors practise at Edenvale Sports Club on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00.
“Not to brag, but the boys grind. They have the passion and love the sport, even the coaches. We are here because we love the sport.

“And to witness the love shown for the sport by the boys. They enjoy playing in the rain.

“We train even when it is pouring as long as it isn’t a thunderstorm. If it’s drizzling like this, we don’t stop,” he concluded.
