Work being done on Mark Road in Illiondale

During the April site visit with Hart, at least three properties were seen to be without a road surface connecting the properties to Mark Road.

Subsequently, an informal road was constructed so that the residents could get to their homes.

At the time Hart explained that there was one large ERF along the road which had not been developed but over the years it was subdivided and development occurred.

The matter which has been on Hart’s Ward IDP budget since 2018/19 was approved earlier this year.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of June.
