Edenvale residents warned of water supply interruptions on September 12
The City of Ekurhuleni has announced scheduled water supply interruptions in Edenvale and Germiston this September, with residents advised to plan.
The EMPD has urged residents of Edenvale and Germiston to prepare for planned water supply interruptions taking place in September.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni, the interruptions are necessary to allow Rand Water to carry out meter replacements and essential maintenance on bulk water infrastructure.
In Edenvale, supply will be disrupted on September 12 between 08:00 and 14:00.
This is due to meter replacement work at the corner of Van Buuren and Van der Linde roads. High-lying areas, including Bedford Gardens and Oriel, will be affected.

In Germiston, residents should expect interruptions on September 16, from 09:00 to 16:00, to allow for maintenance and connections to the existing bulk water line on Barlow Road. The following areas will be affected:
• Jupiter Extensions
• South Germiston Extension
• Germiston Ext 7
• Denlee
The city apologised for the inconvenience and encouraged residents to store sufficient water in advance.
