Local karate gets first place Scotland

Tania Da Costa was crowned the World Union of Karate Do Federations Karate world champion in her class.

The title was presented to her on July 13 at the 2023 championships held in Dundee, Scotland.

She has a dojo in Edenglen where she teaches others, mainly children, the sport of karate.
