Families spoil Edenvale and Bedfordview welfare in honour of loved ones

The group visited the welfare to continue Lekisha, James and Renato’s passion for helping others and giving back when possible.

Patties a plenty were the order of the day when friends and family members of Lekisha Munro, James McFarlane and Renato Dielo continued to honour their memory.

The group visited Child Welfare SA – Edenvale and Bedfordview on November 6, where they prepared 70 hamburgers and chips for the children and staff.

The day before, friends, family and community members attended a flower-laying held at the site where the vehicle these three teens were travelling in collided with a perimeter wall.

The single-vehicle collision, believed to have caused the teenagers’ deaths, occurred on November 5, 2020.

The group visited the welfare to continue Lekisha, James and Renato’s passion for helping others and giving back when possible.

The father of Lekisha, Richard Munro, said their day of hamburger-making went well, with everyone enjoying their hamburger.

Richard thanked the Magua Family, Kota Joe’s Build It Central, Glenvale Hyper, Sabers wholesalers, and the Munro and Dielo families for their contributions.
