St Andrew’s School introduces two new deputies

The school’s marketer Brandon Townsend shared Bauer will take up the position of Deputy Head of Academics and Discipline, while Essop will carry the portfolio of Deputy Head of Student Affairs.

St Andrew’s School for Girls has announced the appointments of Deidré Bauer and Aziezah Essop in their new roles as deputies of the intersen phase (grades four to seven) in the Junior School.

The school’s marketer Brandon Townsend shared Bauer will take up the position of deputy head of academics and discipline, while Essop will carry the portfolio of deputy head of student affairs.

“Bauer and Essop are well known to our community and they have extensive experience in teaching and leadership.

“They have carried various leadership portfolios within St Andrew’s, and they have a sound understanding of the needs of the intersen phase learners, parents and staff,” he said.

“We wish Mrs Essop and Mrs Bauer all the very best in their new roles at St Andrew’s School for Girls,” added Townsend.
