Support children’s dreams with a R20 sticker on Slipper Day

Proceeds from Slipper Day contribute to the Reach For A Dream Foundation, which has been granting dreams to children with life-threatening illnesses since 1988.

Slipper Day, the flagship fundraiser for Reach For A Dream, is back on May 31, promising a day brimming with warmth, generosity and joy in aid of children facing life-threatening illnesses.

Since its inception in 2011, Slipper Day has grown into a nationwide phenomenon, uniting individuals from all walks of life to fulfil dreams for children battling critical diseases like cancer, renal failure and heart conditions.

Julia Sotirianakos, CEO of Reach For A Dream, emphasised the importance of community support.

“Our children endure unimaginable hardships in the hospital every day.

“This year, we urge everyone to embrace Slipper Day, symbolically stepping into the world of these young warriors. By trading shoes for slippers, we show them they’re not alone in their battles.”
