Probus Bedfordview invites the public to a meeting on August 6
This month’s speaker is the club’s member Tracy Korsen who will talk to attendees about Bobby Locke - South African Golfing Legend.
Probus Bedfordview will hosts its open meeting on August 6, at 10:00 for 10:30, in the lounge of St George’s Village.
The public is invited to attend.
This month’s speaker is the club’s member Tracy Korsen who will talk to attendees about Bobby Locke, the South African golfing legend.

Tracy is an accomplished public speaker and has talked on several occasions to different audiences about the life and times of Bobby Locke (1917-1987), born Arthur D’Arcy Locke.
Tracy was a childhood friend of Carolyn, Bobby’s daughter with his second wife Mary Elizabeth Fenton.
Tracy supported Carolyn at her 1996 wedding to Mike Paledi and was a close friend until 40-year-old Carolyn passed away in 2000.
Tracy can recount both Bobby Locke’s family life and Bobby’s life as a successful golfer in which he won the Open Championship four times and 15 PGA Tour events as well as over 50 significant victories in South Africa, including the South African Open nine times.
