Locals join hands for donations in support of animals in need

Over 120 community members showed their support when they joined in a charity walk to collect donations for animals in need.

Hosted by Bedfordview Virgin Active in partnership with Bedfordview Athletics Club, the annual Christmas morning 8km fun walk collected donations for the SPCA and Edenvale Ferals.

The entry fee into the fun walk was a donation of a bag of dog food or cat food.

Starting in 2022, the fun walk initially saw 81 community members participate since then it has grown with 123 community members participating in last year’s walk.
