Driving excellence is important for Saheti, but part of that excellence is ensuring every matric year group produces its best possible results -whatever those marks may be.

Saheti’s academic team nurtures, supports, and motivates a goal-centered approach.

The matric journey begins earlier than the senior years when sitting behind a Saheti matric desk; it becomes a way of thinking from early learning.

Its pedagogy is driven by ensuring that everything Saheti does is marked by doing its best, whether on the sports field, cultural activity or classroom.

Faltering is part of learning, building daily to make tomorrow stronger than yesterday.

A sundial greets every Saheti visitor as they enter the main school building. On it, they engraved the seven values of Saheti.

Two stand foremost in driving excellence – courage and agape (love).

It takes courage for each of our pupils to be determined in their academic path, to understand the journey may not always be easy and that they must have the courage for a committed and consistent drive.

Agape is probably at the core of it all – the love of learning, something delivered from Classical Greek thinking, and the love of teaching by its dedicated staff and the love of community.

Courage and agape became the foundation of excellence that will carry our pupils to strive for greatness in their chosen studies and professional paths.

Saheti wishes each matriculant will contribute, however small or big, to society, championing courage and agape.
