Suspect nabbed after armed robbery at Eastleigh petrol station
A suspect posing with what appeared to be a firearm robbed a petrol station store in Eastleigh before being arrested thanks to quick action by staff, security, and police. Investigations into other possible links are ongoing.
A suspect was apprehended after attempting to rob a petrol station store.
According to a statement by Edenvale Vispol commander Lieutenant Colonel Shadrack Magcuntsu, a suspect entered the store of a petrol station in Eastleigh on the evening of June 28.
The suspect threatened the cashier with what appeared to be a firearm, demanded cash, and then fled with it.

Staff, Mamba Security, and SAPS officers swiftly apprehended him.
Magcuntsu said the case is still under investigation.
Police are investigating whether the suspect is linked to other incidents.
