Truck fire blocks multiple N12 eastbound lanes, heavy delays expected

Four lanes on the N12 eastbound have been closed for a recovery operation after a truck’s rear tyres caught fire, leaving only one lane open and causing heavy delays.

Several lanes of the N12 eastbound have been closed after a truck caught fire earlier today, triggering a major recovery operation and significant traffic delays.

According to authorities, the truck’s rear tyres ignited before being extinguished, but recovery teams were deployed to remove the vehicle and ensure the roadway was safe for motorists.

As a result, four lanes have been blocked to accommodate the operation, with only one lane currently open to traffic.
