City of Ekurhuleni launches festive programme with comedy event
The City of Ekurhuleni will open its festive performing arts season with a comedy showcase on 29 November at the Dumisani Masilela Theatre in Germiston, featuring social media star Leagen Wayans and a line-up of top South African performers.
The City of Ekurhuleni will kick-start its festive season performing arts programme with a comedy showcase, headlined by Leagen Wayans, at the Dumisani Masilela Theatre in Germiston, on November 29.
According to the CoE, Wayans has grown into a well-known comedic talent, gaining a strong following through his social media skits and online performances. His accounts now exceed one million followers, making him one of the notable rising voices in the entertainment space.

He will share the stage with several of South Africa’s seasoned performers, bringing audiences a blend of humour, music and engaging storytelling.
The city said the show is open to all residents seeking to unwind and enjoy an uplifting afternoon following a long and demanding year.
