Edenvale Senior Citizens Society offers affordable meals and activities for seniors
In addition to its meal service, the society offers a variety of activities for seniors from Edenvale and surrounding areas.
The Edenvale Senior Citizens Society continues to provide affordable meals and a wide range of activities for senior residents while bringing the community together through its monthly themed lunches and events.
The society prepares freshly cooked meals every weekday, which are available to both members and non-members at a reasonable cost.
Meals must be booked at least a day in advance, with the weekly menu shared every Friday on the society’s members’ WhatsApp group and Facebook page.

In addition to its meal service, the society offers a variety of activities for seniors from Edenvale and surrounding areas.
These include table tennis, darts, a seniors’ gym, a card-playing group, bingo, line dancing and a weekday morning charity shop.
The society hosted a morning market at the Edenvale Community Centre on July 4.

The indoor market featured a wide selection of bargains, including clothing, kitchenware, books, magazines, jigsaw puzzles, toys, bed linen and curtains.
