Holy Rosary learner shines on world stage

Grade Eight learner Kayla Levenson represented South Africa at the Federation of Performing Arts World Championships in Spain, excelling in the Vocal Division and earning top placements in multiple categories.

Kayla Levenson, a Grade Eight learner from Holy Rosary High School, proudly represented South Africa at the Federation of Performing Arts World Championships in the Vocal Division, where she excelled.

The championships, held over three days in Spain, brought together performing artists from more than 20 countries.

Kayla performed four songs and was selected as a finalist out of more than 400 candidates, achieving outstanding results at this prestigious event.

Her results were as follows:
• Song: Popular – first place (Musical Theatre)
• Song: She Used to Be Mine – second place (Individual Solo)
• Song: The Climb – second place (Inspirational)
• Song: African Dream – second place (Heritage)

Kayla’s remarkable achievements have not only brought honour to her school but have also highlighted the incredible talent of young South African performers on the global stage.
