Nombuso Mnguni: “Stationery and uniforms are getting expensive. As a parent, you make sacrifices in order to make sure all the school needs are covered. It would be nice if the cost of basic school equipment is cheaper.”
Thembi Mthembu: “As a single parent I have to stretch the budget to make sure I cover the school stuff. Uniforms are getting expensive and school fees are also high.”
Lisakazi Ngqaqa: “It’s not easy but as a parent you have to make sure your child has all that is needed. If there can be a way to lower the cost of the basic costs for stationery and uniforms, that can help a lot of parents because a lot is needed.”
Sthembile Khumalo: “Stationery and uniforms are getting more expensive every year. Sometimes you cannot even cover all that is needed. If prices can go down that would make a difference because money is really tight.”
Zanele Mhlongo: “It’s difficult to buy everything at once because things are so expensive. You have to choose from the most important to the least important. If uniforms and stationery could be reasonably priced it would make a difference.”
