“Look after your pets” pleads resident

EDITOR – I just wish one could get through to the owners of pets.

On January 28, while travelling down Terrace Road, I saw a small black dog on the road.

I pulled over to try and pick him or her up to take to the SPCA, but the poor little baby was so terrified, it just ran.

I tried to follow, but the little doggie went down the street and disappeared.

Please, I implore all pet owners, please take precautions when driving in or out of your properties so that your pets are safe and sound behind your gates.

Do not just assume that they are safe.

It only takes two seconds to check.

I just hope and pray this little one was picked up and is now safe.
