Family thankful for care centre

We knew that when she came out of hospital we would need to find a very special place that could take care of all her needs.

EDITOR – The last three years have been a difficult time for our mom, Yvonne Mansfield.

On June 10, 2012, she had a severe stroke which has left her paralyzed on the right side of her body, unable to speak, and at the time unable to swallow.

We knew that when she came out of hospital we would need to find a very special place that could take care of all her needs.

We found that little gem.

Glenrus Frail Care Cenre in Adrea Street, Glen Marais, Kempton Park.

It is a small home with a big heart.

It is situated within the retirement village and houses about 15 residents when at full capacity.

Sister Dora and the team of care-givers, thank you for the professional and loving way in which you have cared for, and loved our mom over the years.

Nothing has ever been too much for you and your wonderful staff.

In December last year, when our mom was so very ill, you refused to go home at the end of a long day and spent the night making sure she would be comfortable.

We know that you have done the same for other residents at the home.

We can rest assured, knowing that our mom is in the best possible place and for that, we are most thankful.

THE MANSFIELD FAMILY.
