EDITOR – Thank you to the Edenvale Hospital for taking great care of me.
I was admitted to the hospital in September, where I spent five days in High Care and a total stay of nine days.
I had the opportunity to observe what staff members do and how the hospital works.
Being well mannered prevailed in how I treated the nurses. I received all the support and assistance I needed, followed by a please and thank you.
I could see the appreciation in their faces and they were more than happy to help me when needed.
They responded with “no problem Sir, we will help you”.
I was also unable to eat any salt due to my intestines that were burnt. However, I received my tea on time as well as my unsalted food.
The doctor in ward nine, who I was a patient of, was brilliant in taking care of me and I would like to thank the staff for their hard work, especially since the hospital is very busy.
From the cups of tea to the daily linen changes, I will always be grateful for the good care and the firmly placed management.
