Little Eden thanks the NEWS

Although 50 years is an impressive achievement, it is not our destination.

EDITOR – Little Eden is moving towards its golden anniversary in 2017.

However, we realise once again that journeys such as Little Eden’s can never be travelled alone.

Looking back, it is overwhelming and humbling to have been entrusted with nearly 1 000 residents in our care over the past 48 years.

Hence our core mission remains to provide quality care to our special angels who are completely dependent on the help of the organisation. Supporting us are countless footprints of parents, friends and benefactors who have assisted the organisation on this fulfilling and amazing journey.

Although 50 years is an impressive achievement, it is not our destination.

The journey for Little Eden is never ending and the organisation cannot relent in its efforts to build a reserve fund to ensue the financial security of the organisation.

The current economic state in South Africa certainly has a major influence on the financial situation of Little Eden and our need for support is as great now as it ever was.

The smiles on our resident’s when a warm meal is presented on the table and as the soothing hand of a staff member tucks them into bed and when the stimulation programme helps them reach their next milestone, we turn to YOU to say thank you for your contribution towards the care of our residents is greatly appreciated.

Little Eden would like to wish the NEWS a Joyful Christmas and may the New Year 2016 be filled with peace and happiness.
