
EDITOR – I am writing to advise that I have been contacted on several occasions by a Sister Caroline from Edenvale Clinic and then Sister Lorna, since lodging my complaint about bad service at Edenvale Clinic.
They requested that I come into the clinic, together with my domestic worker Nikky, to consult with them.
Nikky and I consulted with Sister Lorna and I explained the problem regarding the bad service from the staff at the clinic. Sister Lorna apologised several times and assured me this would not happen again.
I have since been contacted by the HOD of Health Services and he enquired about the follow up in regard to my complaint.
I expressed my satisfaction about the clinic following up with me and the apology from Sister Lorna. I advised that the only time we will know whether the service has improved is when Nikky goes back to the clinic for a further visit for her two-year-old daughter. I further advised the HOD that I would take it further should the service not improve at the Edenvale Clinic.
