LETTER: Resident calls for potholes being fixed over renaming of landmarks in Ekurhuleni

EDITOR – The news item on page three of September 25 once again underscores the incompetence of the City of Ekurhuleni.

The eventual cost of renaming 42 streets and landmarks will far exceed the cost of repairing the potholed streets of our cities, which are in a shocking state.

Also, the proposed names in no way bear a resemblance of all the people who make up the population.

Or is this a ruse to gain support from the voters?
