Rhodes Park bowls development programme invites youngsters

KENSINGTON – Rhodes Park bowls club attracting youngsters to bowls.

The bowls development programme based at Rhodes Park Bowling Club has re-opened for the year.

“The aim of the programme is to get the younger generation interested in bowls.

“Since the programme started we have seen some great potential and with dedication, they can play professional,” said Hoffman.

The development programme was launched in June last year and classes are held every Saturday from 9am to 11am at Rhodes Park Bowling Club.

The programme so far has been training children from Johannesburg Children’s Home.
