Edenvale soccer player excels

During the previous season, she helped her team reach and win the Easterns U-11 cup final

Under-11 soccer player of Edenvale Football Club, Tatum Labuschagne recently won player of the year for her team at the clubs annual prize-giving.

Labuschagne who plays for the club’s u-11 promotional boys team is the only girl playing at the club in her age group.

Under the joint guidance of coach Julian Peel and coach Brian Hawken, she has blossomed into a competitive, respectful, skilful footballer.

During the previous season, she helped her team reach and win the Easterns u-11 cup final.

Labuschagne’s father, Wayne Labuschagne, said soccer is her life.

He said as proud parents they support and help nurture her talents.

Next July Labuschagne will join the Edenvale Super League u-11 team on tour to the Manchester Super Cup where she will represent South Africa.
