SA Baseball team train for French National Baseball tour
Chairman of Giants Imps Baseball Club, Dean McKinon said that this is the first time in many years that the SA Baseball team will be training at the club.
South African National Baseball teams came out to train at the Edenvale Sports Grounds, home of Giants Imps Baseball Club, on November 2, for the French National Baseball tour – seven game test series.

“We are going to do some warm ups, a lot of stretching, in fields and out fields, drills and bunt defence, “said pitching coach Darryn Smith.
Smith said the team is prepared to work hard to get a win.
The head coach of the SA Baseball team is Neil Adonis.
President of the South African Baseball Union Marc Moreau said that the French National Baseball Team arrived in Johannesburg on November 2 to take on the SA Baseball team.
“It will be a seven day test series for the ‘Presidents Cup’,” said Moreau.
He said that the French team is ranked 24th in the world while SA is 26th.
“South Africa will play the reverse test series in France next year, all in preparation for the Africa European Olympic Qualifiers 2020, which is expected to take place in Europe during the month of September 2019,” said Moreau.
