Locals enjoy a game of weekend bowls

Modderfontein Bowls Club had men’s and women’s club matches on March 22 and 23.

Club members played their fours competitively in preparation for upcoming league matches.

Winners of the women’s fours were Linda Winslow, Carrie Richards, Jean Ruthenberg and Elaine Muller.

Winners of the men’s fours were Robbie Cosslett, Tony Davies, Mike Dixey and Tony Foster.

League matches will take place on March 31.

The bowls club is open to all community members who would like to join. The club hall can also be hired for various events such as weddings, parties and corporate events.
