Two title wins for Dunvegan tennis player
Nine-year-old van der Merwe won the singles and doubles titles for his age group at the tournament.
Tristan van der Merwe from Dunvegan-based Merrylyn Tennis Club competed in the Gauteng North Growthpoint Tournament where he won two titles.

He beat his doubles partner, Jovan Mandic, 5-4 in the round robin.
Coach Jean de Villiers said the young tennis player had a great run so far winning two tittles in a row in the u-10 Growthpoint tournaments.
De Villiers said van der Merwe works hard on his game at the club.
