Jeppe Cricket Club had an eventful day of cricket matches on January 19.
The club’s premier league players played against Kagiso Cricket Club at the Jeppe Quondam Sports Ground.
Jeppe CC came out victorious with 249 runs.
Player’s results were as follows:
Steffan Vorster – 96 off 115 balls.
Gareth Oliver – 93 off 98 balls.
Siya Mahima – 5/16 in 8.4 overs.
Calvin Johnson – 4/29 in 10 overs.
At Jeppe Boys High School, the Presidents league players from Jeppe CC faced off against Glenvista CC.
Jeppe CC won the match by 194 runs.
And lastly Jeppe CC played in the Sunday Seven 35 over Junior league against Midrand Knights CC at Marlboro Grounds.
Jeppe CC won by 9 wickets where Troy Keartland got 5/4 in 3 overs.
