Laughing for a good cause

Avid Liverpool supporter and comedian, Chris Forrest introduced the country to The Villa of Hope during his SA Celebrity Masterchef journey.

Residents are invited to join Comics Who Care and the Liverpool FC Supporters Club on Wednesday, October 29, for a one-night-only comedy show to raise funds for The Villa of Hope.

Avid Liverpool supporter and comedian, Chris Forrest introduced the country to The Villa of Hope during his SA Celebrity Masterchef journey.

After winning the show, Chris pledged to continue supporting this worthwhile cause that homes and protects children of all ages.

The event will take place at the home of the LFC Supporters Club, the Ridgeway Racebar at the Stoneridge Shopping Centre, to raise funds for The Villa of Hope.

Comedians include Chris Forrest (MC), Dave Levinsohn, Warren Robertson and Mel Miller.

Situated in Nancefield, Johannesburg, The Villa of Hope takes care of those children who have been orphaned or require alternative care due to abuse, neglect, abandonment and children who are affected or infected by HIV and Aids.

Tickets for the event cost R80 per person and are available at Quicket.co.za or at the door.

There is limited seating available, so book early to avoid disappointment.
