Edenvale wins North Rand soccer league for fourth consecutive season

The Edenvale SAPS soccer team recently participated in the Provincial Club Championship.

Under the coaching of Warrant Officer Lawrance Dibete, the team was victorious and scored two goals against Kathlehong in the final. The local team won the North Rand League.

W/O Dibete said the first goal was scored by Constable Mothele and the second was scored by Cnst Monene.

“Edenvale winning the trophy at the Provincial Club Championships means a lot to all of us. It shows signs of true commitment and team effort,” he said.

He said as the coach of the winning team it was a great achievement for him and he hoped to continue with the team’s winning streak.

This was the Edenvale SAPS team’s fourth consecutive season win.
