What’s happening in the community

• The community of Troyville will host a public meeting on 11 March at 10pm and is inviting residents from Fairview, Kensington, Belgravia and Troyville. The meeting will be held at the substation in Troyville situated on the corner of Appolonia and Nourse streets. Details: Vusi Nkosi 083 669 5715.
• The Malvern Ballroom Dancers will host a concert on 11 March at the Methodist Church in Malvern. Community members are invited to attend. Details: Gugulethu Sangweni 061 694 6646.
• The Rhodes Park Walkers will host a picnic on 10 March at Rhodes Park kiddies area at 3pm. Residents are invited to bring their picnic baskets and come meet other members of the community. Details Gail Wilson: 082 446 7283.
• I Love Kensington Association will hold its annual general meeting on 1 April at 9am. The meeting will be held at Rhodes Park community Centre. Registration is at 9.30am. Details: Chairperson Tony de Munik 078 630 0185.
