Three injured in three-vehicle crash

Three people were injured, one of them critically, when a truck crashed over the centre median and into two SUVs in Bedfordview on November 15.

The collision occurred on the N3 highway near the Van Buuren off-ramp.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said paramedics and other services arrived on the scene and found the truck on top of the concrete barriers.

Two wrecked SUVs were found on the opposite side of the highway.

“Paramedics from various services inspected the scene and found that three people had been injured in this incident. One of the patients had sustained critical injuries.”

The patients were treated for their injuries.

The critically injured patient was provided with advanced life support treatment.

The patients were transported to various hospitals for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene to conduct investigations.
