Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend (May 8, 9 and 10):

Friday

Two houses were broken into along Muir and Bester Streets.

Jewellery, a television set, a laptop and a Playstation were stolen.

A spare wheel was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Mall@Carnival.

A GPS was stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage along Wenden Street.

A pedestrian was robbed of his phone and cash at gunpoint, at the corner of Cavendish and Northdene Roads.

Saturday

A housebreaking occurred along Van Dyk Road, where a television set was stolen.

Sunday

A house was broken into and a business robbery occurred along Wenden Street.

A pearl necklace was stolen from the house.

Staff members were assaulted by two armed robbers at the business premises, and four cellphones, a watch and cash were stolen.
