Suspect crashes car minutes after stealing it
The long arm of the law caught up with a car thief this afternoon (Thursday), when the suspect caused an accident at the busy Carnival City crossing, in his attempt to get away.
The suspect crashed into two cars and then lost control of the Toyota bakkie, which he had apparently stolen earlier on.
The man, who sustained a head injury, was arrested on the scene.
