Lightning strikes tree
Everyone had a huge fright when the lighting struck the tree.
A palm tree situated near the post boxes at the Sherwood Shopping Centre was struck by lightning during an early morning storm on Tuesday (January 23).

Petrus Mphuthi, who works at the nearby petrol station, told the Herald the tree burst into flames after the lightning strike. “We all got a huge fright,” he added.
