Women inspiring women
Female entrepreneurs from within the community recently gathered at Hirsch’s Carnival for its monthly Ladies Networking event.
The women in attendance were inspired by guest speaker Jaci Tibbit, who spoke about “Being Roses of Society”.
Tibbit is the titleholder of Mrs Mzanzi Africa 2018, Mrs Africa Humanity 2018, Margaret Hirsch Women in Business Achiever of the Year (winner for Fourways 2016), Women of the Year 2017 finalist, as well as a business owner.
“Although the journey was tough, today she can look back in awe at what she has accomplished over the past few years,” said Hirsch’s PRO Chantelle du Plessis about Tibbit.
“Opening up her own business has also taught her to give back and to make a difference in other people’s lives, no matter how big or small the act of kindness is.

After Tibbit’s talk, each of the networkers was given the opportunity to present themselves and their business, followed by some lucky draws, sharing of business cards and refreshments.
