Armed robbery:
• A bakkie canopy was stolen from a business in Jones Avenue during the early hours of yesterday morning (Wednesday).
Three men, one of whom was armed with a gun, gained access to the premises at around 12.30am and threatened a man who lives on the property.
The robbers demanded money from the victim and searched his room, taking his cellphone and bank card.
They left the victim in his room and fled, taking the canopy from the yard with them.

Burglary:
• Ellis Street, Brakpan North.
The residence was burgled on Tuesday.
Stolen: A laptop and cellphones.
• Denne Road, Witpoort Estates (business).
The break-in took place on Tuesday.
Stolen: TVs, a DVD player, liquor, catering equipment and other valuables.
• Van Zyl Street, Brenthurst (business).
The burglary occurred between June 6 and 8.
Stolen: A laptop, cash register and some cash.
Theft of motor vehicle:
• An orange Big Boy motorcycle was stolen from an address along Gerrit Maritz Avenue in Dalview on Tuesday.
• A white Hyundai H100 was stolen from Voortrekker Road yesterday.
The vehicle was recovered in Heidelberg and a suspect was arrested.
