Daily crime watch

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (May 22 to 23):

Cases reported:

• Reckless driving: 2
• Theft from motor vehicle: 1
• Residential burglary: 1
• Theft out of motor vehicle: 2 (one Germiston case)
• Theft: 1
• Tampering with infrastructure: 1

Arrests:

• Theft: 2

Burglary:

• Byron Road, Dalpark.

The break-in took place yesterday (Wednesday).

Stolen: A TV.

Theft out of/from motor vehicle:

• On Tuesday, a battery and a bag of tools were stolen from a bakkie parked along Taft Avenue.

• Wheel caps were stolen from a car parked at an address along Victoria Avenue, yesterday.
