Blood drive at car show
The SANBS reminds residents that blood stocks become more critical during holiday periods, such as Easter.
SANBS will be hosting a blood drive at the Just Wheels British Day Car Show on April 24.
The show will take place from 09:00 at the Just Wheels clubhouse at 169 Kitzinger Avenue.
The SANBS reminds residents that blood stocks become more critical during holiday periods, such as Easter, and everyone is also urged to visit their nearest donor centre if they are eligible to donate blood.

Minimum criteria for donating blood:
• Weigh at least 50kg
• Between the ages of 16 and 65
• Be in good health
• Lead a sexually safe lifestyle
• Consider blood safe for transfusion
• You may only donate every 56 days
