RATA to host Women’s Day event
The initiative needs donations to help the women it supports.
RATA Social Services and various stakeholders will hold an event on August 25 to pamper about 50 underprivileged women.
The women will receive care packages, they will listen to motivational speakers and they will learn new skills.
“We want to make them feel special and valuable,” said Yolandi Wheeler from Truth Heals NPC.
The initiative needs donations of deodorant (roll-on or spray), sanitary pads, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes and chocolates.
They also want to give the ladies nail care kits.
Donations can be delivered to 38 Park Street in Brakpan. For more information, contact Wheeler on 082 974 4943.
