Rata to host Women’s Day event
The event will collect donations to support needy women in the community.
RATA Social Services will hold a Women Celebrating Women event for Women’s Day on August 9 at their offices on 38 Park Street.
Female business leaders will speak at the event, which has space for 50 women to attend from 10:00 to 13:00.
One can collect tickets from the RATA offices on August 2.
The event will also collect sponsorships and donations, especially spray deodorant, sanitary supplies, soap, face cloths, toothbrushes and toothpaste to help needy women in the community.
All donations and sponsorships must be made before the end of the day on August 2.
RATA is collaborating with the I Care Collective, Truth Heals Ministries, the Worthy Ministry Brakpan and Psalm91 Soul Recovery for the event.
