Local organisation treats senior citizens
"We encourage the community to join us in supporting this wonderful home and ensuring its residents continue to live in a safe, comfortable environment.”
The 100% Foundation, in partnership with Affinity Life and Seed Café, brought festive cheer to the residents of Ebenhaeser Home in Brakpan by hosting a heartwarming early Christmas lunch, on December 20.
Adriaan Chamberlain and Kumaran Govender from Affinity Life joined the celebration, contributing to the success of the event with their support.
Residents and staff were treated to a wholesome and delicious meal prepared by Seed Café, spreading joy and the spirit of giving, while The 100% Foundation donated gifts to all the residents and staff members at the home.

During the visit, the foundation identified areas where Ebenhaeser Home needs community support. According to it’s senior project co-ordinator, Janap Biemba, the home requires funding and sponsorship for essential projects, including painting and renovating bathrooms.
Recognising the importance of uplifting senior communities, Biemba said they committed to collaborating with individuals, businesses, and organisations willing to contribute to these vital initiatives.
“The holiday season is a time to give back, and we are honored to bring smiles to the residents of the home. We encourage the community to join us in supporting this wonderful facility and ensuring its residents continue to live in a safe, comfortable environment.”
