• Johannes de Villiers tree om 09:00 op as gasspreker op by die NG Kerk Brakpan-Noord, Gardinerlaan 101 (oorkant die munisipale swembad). • The Golden Oldies Social Club meets every Thursday from 8:30 to 11:30 at 134 Gardiner Street. It is open for anyone over 55 with nothing to do. The club does various crafts, plays boardgames and is planning a breakfast outing this year. For more information, contact Ursula Edwards on 082 491 6217.
• Die NG Kerk Brakpan-Oos, op die hoek van Bourdaryweg en Lappingstraat, hou elke Vrydagaand vanaf 18:30 ‘n buitelug Praise and Worship. Belangstellendes kan komberse of tuinstoele bring om op te sit. Kontak Anton Pretorius by 084 499 5462 vir meer inligting.
• Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, bring your running tag/barcode. You run, walk or jog at your own pace.
