MTN Joyous Celebration #ShareYourLight top 10 finalists announced
The winner/s will be announced on April 16 at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City.
For the past five months, MTN and the Joyous Celebration Foundation have been searching for new talent to join the multi-award-winning ensemble through the Share Your Light digital auditions campaign.
Now, with over 52 000 votes received from members of the public, the top 10 finalist selection has concluded.
They will move to the next stage of the competition – a weeklong workshop with MTN Joyous Celebration where they will be put through their paces and tested in all manner of music to harness their talent.

The top 10 finalists are Thabang Hlatshwayo, Princess Zuma, Anele Precious Mxhakaza, Nkululeko Nsibande, Millicent Mbonani, Siphelele Miya, Bello Mpendulo, Sinelungelo Nqubeko Memela, Atlegang Sentle Molefhe and Selathe Mathiya.

“Our objective has always been about bringing people closer to their passion. With the opportunities given to the top 10 contestants, we hope they will match it with the required energies that will propel them to progress in their careers and thrive in the industry.”

The workshop will include vocal challenges, song selection and rehearsals and music business master class sessions with established artists in the industry.
During the mentorship week, the MTN Joyous Celebration founders will have an opportunity to have closer interaction with the finalists and ultimately select the winner/s of the #ShareYourLight online talent search competition.
The winner/s will be announced on April 16 at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City. Live audience tickets for the three shows will be sold via Webtickets and Pick n Pay outlets. Fans also have an opportunity to live stream the Saturday show on the JoyousTV platform. Tickets are available on JoyousTV.
