GALLERY: Unveiling the new Farmhouse, Rietvlei Zoo Farm

Terrence said they are extremely proud of their new facilities and the extra comfort this will bring to their patrons.

The Farmhouse Restaurant and Bar, situated on the Rietvlei Zoo Farm, introduced its new revamp to people of interest on September 5.

The restaurant, which has been in operation under the current management, has been operating since November 2019 but have expanded immensely.

Owners Terrence Nkuna and Mahlaho Siweya were proud to show off the new floorspace. Initially, the restaurant consisted of only one container, but recently they bought two additional containers, allowing them to expand the kitchen, create a VIP area and build onsite bathrooms.

According to Terrence they are extremely proud of their new facilities and the extra comfort this will bring to their patrons.

The Farmhouse aims to be a mixing pot of cultures, supporting local businesses and offering traditional meals not found elsewhere in the area.

Those attending were treated to a tour of the new restaurant layout, as well as a breakfast and gin tasting. The gin tasting showed off a local business, with a craft beer lineup by local businesswoman Hleugi Ngidi.
