A wonderful event at Thaba Eco Hotel.

THE Waterstone matric dance was a glamourous evening at Thaba Eco Hotel where matriculants arrived in style and were welcomed by excited parents, teachers and learners from Waterstone College. They also partook in loads of photo opportunities, making them feel like celebrities. The learners were honoured during the evening and also had the opportunity to go down memory lane by watching a slide show of all the memories they had created over their high school years.

The learners had also made an event out of asking their partners to the matric dance. Courtney Pretorius asked Thomas Woodhead at the school inter-house gala earlier this year to go with her to the dance, by holding up a poster after the gala.

Both learners are passionate about swimming and swim for Central Gauteng Aquatics (CGA). They both swim open water events, such as the Midmar Mile each year and have also represented Central Gauteng at the SA National Open Water Swimming Championships for the past three years.
