A man was found dead on a bench in the park next to Ormonde Primary School on September 10.
Booysens SAPS communications officer Capt Lorraine van Emmerik said members from the Community Service Centre received a complaint of a man sitting on a bench in the park.
Upon arrival, the member was approached by a security guard who led him to where the man was sitting.
“The member found the man was cold and wearing a black overall top, black trackpants and blue tekkies, with a stick next to him that looked like he used it to walk.
“Paramedics came out to the scene and declared the man dead. An inquest docket has been opened to find out the cause of death as there were no physical injuries,” she said.
