Despite the challenges faced by the pandemic, learners remained committed to their studies throughout the year, showing tremendous determination and perseverance in pursuit of their goals.
Managing partner at BESA Leadership Academy Clint Preddy said their 2020 dux scholar, Rachael Strydom, attained four distinctions for life orientation, business studies, Afrikaans and engineering graphics and design, while Busisiwe Malinga achieved three distinctions for life orientation, business studies and mathematical literacy.
“In total, our learners achieved 21 distinctions (from just 34 candidates), at a rate of 62 per cent, including four 90 per cent plus results, with an overall 76 per cent bachelor’s degree pass.
“We are extremely proud of our matriculants and their achievements and wish them everything of the best for their future successes,” said Preddy.
