Law enforcers were on high alert after receiving reports of a wanted vehicle that is stealing cars throughout the greater Johannesburg area specializing in Toyota Hilux.
Fox Security Tactical members reacted with Mondeor CPF and Mondeor SAPS and a search was conducted of the area.
“Mondeor CPF member spotted the vehicle and called for Backup. The vehicle was stopped and four suspects were apprehended,” said Elowayne Gouws, Fox Security operational manager.
A signal jammer, vehicle computer boxes with keys and ignitions as well as car breaking implements were found in the vehicle. The vehicle was also fitted with false registration numbers.
“Thank you to Mondeor SAPS CID unit and Mondeor CPF for the assistance,” said Gouws.
