A wanted vehicle linked to diesel theft was intercepted and impounded on July 6, leading to the arrest of a suspect now in custody and set to be handed over to Cleveland SAPS.
A suspect was arrested and a vehicle recovered in Brackenhurst on July 6, after a positive hit was received via Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) technology.
The vehicle had an active case linked to Cleveland SAPS and was stopped and inspected. Its occupant was taken into custody on charges of fuel and diesel theft, and the vehicle was impounded at the SAPS vehicle pound.
Brackendowns SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Lindile Moloi confirmed the arrest.
